If you have a quiet night or two in (as we do) this weekend, may I recommend one of my favorite old black and white films? It Happened One Night came out in 1934, stars Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert and was directed by Frank Capra.
It Happened One Night is so sweet and so smart-- I really don't even think it deserves the label of "romantic comedy," but if it did, it would be in the upper echelon of the genre.
If you happen to get Netflix, I saw that this lovely little film was added to the Watch Instantly queue. Otherwise, you ought to be able to find it in the classics section of your local movie rental shop fairly easily.
Happy Weekend!

I just love this card.
You can find it (and many more) at Fluff Paper, the fabulous paper shop owned by my fabulous cousin. That's right. Julie's not only a creative genius, she's related to me.
If you happen to live in Denver, you can visit the store in Belmar at 445 S. Saulsbury St., Unit G, Lakewood, CO and see all the goodness for yourself.
Ooh, and how cute is this card featuring a Vespa?
I happen to love Vespas and have featured them in my Friday Favorites and for almost no reason at all. One day I plan to own either a red one or a seafoam green one. Because, you know, I'm not picky.
