Confessions of an over-thirty.

1. I sometimes forget my age.

2. I love to knit.

3. I had to switch to Sensodyne.

4. I relish quiet.

and perhaps most horrifying of all:
5. Today my tights got a teeny bit droopy around the ankles.

Forget over-thirty. These sound like the confessions of a senior citizen. Doesn't that qualify me for a discount at Hill Country Weavers?

I wish I knew how to knit! One of my goals for this year is to learn.

Brittney-- You can totally do it! I taught myself from an issue of Real Simple like five years ago! Since then, I've made tons of scarves and a couple of beanies. Nothing fancy. They have little how-to videos you can watch on Youtube, and seriously, Hill Country Weavers has the best stuff. For sure buy bamboo needles instead of the metal ones-- soooo much easier to work with. Have fun!

Lady, I sat down with a friend Sunday night and she tried her darnedest to teach me to knit. Let's just say, I am a terrible student.

How do I know I am getting old? I love sitting around with other couples laughing about the things those young couples like to do. Like go out after 9pm!

I relish friday nights where I can stay home alone and quilt. Surely this isn't the most exciting way to spend the last year of my 20s?

How funny! Yes, I had to stop and think about how old I was yesterday...um, 31. How different that sounds than 28.
