You may already know my wonderful friend Linda from
The Auspicious Life. She's not only terribly clever and cute, she's one badass teacher. I know firsthand. We were lucky to have her as a teacher at my school before she moved away to teach in Portlandia. Anyway, Linda emerged on the style blogger scene a while ago with her personal blog, and then she came up with this insanely good idea. What about a style blog that shows how everybody everywhere styles a specific piece of clothing? She calls it
Everybody, Everywear. Genius, I tell you.
Well, this month's challenge is polka dots, which are near and dear to my heart. I realize I'm not a style blogger. But what the hell? Here's how I style polka dots. (Keep in mind this is only one of many polka-dotted skirts in my closet.)

I haven't had time to log into EBEW all day, but seeing this post made me squeal. I think Junichi thought I was crazy.
It's so funny how things evolve. Junichi forced me to start something late last summer, just to practice some website stuff. I agreed, but was kicking and screaming the whole way! How it turned into this, I'll never know. I will say, I am much more comfortable coordinating EBEW than putting my own image out there!
I am jealous of all the fun you will be having with the conference this weekend. If only our spring breaks matched up! I'm always pestering Junichi for a trip back to visit. I'm looking forward to living through the event with all your amazing pictures!
