Friday Favorites, vol. 40: Happy Christmas!

I love to say that because it makes me sound so British.

1. the sound of champagne corks popping

BONUS: coupe champagne glasses (also known as goblets or saucers-- they're the ones that Holly Golightly uses in Breakfast at Tiffany's)

2. this Christmas tree (which we realized we put together wrong, in case you notice that it's a tad uneven here. Don't worry-- we've since fixed it. I blame champagne?)

3. winter white

BONUS: this movie, one of my favorite guilty-pleasure chick-flicks-- just in time for Christmas! Add it to the list below.

4. Christmas movie marathons
We may or may not have watched each and every one of these in the last week.

5. nutcrackers

BONUS: The Nutcracker

BONUS BONUS: Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy

Oooh, I love the sound of champagne corks popping (although I love champagne flutes rather than goblets). It's also a tradition that we watch "love actually" each xmas eve, with family friends of ours. :)

I just adore stumbling upon a wonderful blog. I had a great time reading everything here and the pictures are fab. Not to mention that the movies you showed here are among my favorites as well. I am also following you on Twitter and look forward to your energetic and refreshing posts!

Eliza-- We have a bunch of champagne flutes and I think they're technically supposed to keep the champagne more bubbly? Also, I can't watch the Love Actually scene when Colin Firth proposes to Aurelia without going weak in the knees.

Gabs-- Thanks! I'll have to go find you on Twitter. Nice to meet you! :)

Kathryn-- Yes! I haven't been to see the Nutcracker for a few years... I make Nathan take me every so often! :)

Sandhya-- Sometimes I watch Love Actually, even when it's not the holidays! P.S. We found the card tree at the Container Store of all places.
